A Vue-and-Photoshop job, developed as a concept for an animated logo to accompany 'The Beacon' (educational website: www.thebeacon.co.nz). The idea was to represent the 'beacon' as literally as possible - a lighthouse - and then offset this with a dynamic environment and dramatic lighting, thus hopefully carrying forward the 'drama' of the image onto the education system itself (aimed at secondary school students).
I added a sort of 'vignette' in PS, as well as some minor additional colour correction.
Original tower model by Ian Foster, modified by me in 3DS Max 7.
